UX Research That Replaces Opinions With Evidence

Most US product teams already have a strong intuition about what their users want. The problem is that intuition and reality drift apart over time — and the gap only becomes visible when conversion drops, support tickets pile up, or a competitor ships something better. Our UX research practice exists to close that gap fast, with research methods designed for product teams that need to keep shipping while they learn.

What We Actually Do

Every research engagement starts with one question: "What product decision are you trying to make?" We design the research to answer that decision directly — never research for its own sake.

  1. Moderated usability testing with 5–8 real users from your target US audience. We watch them complete the tasks your product was built around and write down every place they stumble, get confused, or give up.
  2. User interviews using Jobs-to-be-Done framing. We surface the underlying motivation behind why people hire your product — and what would make them switch to a competitor.
  3. Card sorting and tree testing to validate your information architecture before you spend engineering hours building the wrong navigation.
  4. Heuristic evaluation against 200+ established usability principles. We catch the issues that internal teams have stopped noticing because they look at the product every day.
  5. Behavioral analytics review using your existing Hotjar, FullStory, Heap, or Mixpanel data to quantify the qualitative findings.

What You Get

A prioritized findings report with severity ratings, recommended design fixes, video clips of users encountering each issue, and a one-hour synthesis workshop with your product team. No 80-page academic document — just the evidence and decisions your team can act on this sprint.

When This Service Is Right For You

UX research is most valuable before you commit engineering capacity to a redesign, before you launch a new feature into a competitive market, or when you're seeing unexplained churn and need to understand the "why" behind the data. If you're already convinced about the solution and just need someone to validate it, we'll tell you honestly — research can also confirm you're on the right track.
